Urxvt ignoring '*background' Xresource?

Weird. I just did the following test:

    ~> xrdb -query -all -global
            [all Xresources are listed]
    ~> xrdb -remove
    ~> xrdb -query -all -global
            [nothing is returned]

    ~> urxvt -xrm '*background: #DBC291'
            [urxvt opens with a white background]

    ~> urxvt -xrm 'urxvt*background: #DBC291'
            [urxvt opens with the expected tan background]

If you can confirm my result, we can conclude that, indeed, urxvt is
ignoring '*background' even without interference from other Xresources.
