Holding the Meta modifier (often the Alt key) down while pressing the
middle mouse button will insert text from the CLIPBOARD selection
instead of PRIMARY. There does not seem to be a builtin way to
perform this operation without using the mouse (Shift+Insert behavior
is hardcoded to use the PRIMARY selection only).
