How to use the urxvt like VTE (Terminator)

	Hi,

I am trying to solve one long-term issue with organization of the
terminal window on the screen. I found the Terminator project
(http://www.tenshu.net/terminator/) recently. It looks pretty cool with
one big "But". The terminals in the windows are arranged as a widget of
the Python binding of the VTE library
(http://library.gnome.org/devel/vte/unstable/). 

The holly grail for me is managing terminal windows like the Terminator
does but with urxvt in the sub-windows.

What did come to my mind is to implement Python VTE-like api to urxvt. A
least methods that is used in the Terminator. It looks like a lot of
work. My question is if someone can see a easier way how to connect the
Terminator feature with urxvt.
