Let me remind others of what's so wrong with what joerg attempts here:
Keep in mind that netbsd is the *only* OS that does this with popcount,
the object of this discussion, regardless of joergs continous claims that
others do the same. That's a fact, and easily verifiable.
_I_ certainly _did_ check my facts, or at least did a good effort of doing
it. _I_ certainly didn't just make empty, unrelated or outright false
claims in the hope nobody notices it.
I _personally_ find it sad that joerg cannot even acknowledge the facts.
