OpenSolaris Line Drawing Character Problem

rxvt-unicode Fans,

I'm experiencing a problem with rxvt-unicode under OpenSolaris(Indiana):

# uname -a
SunOS Blaidd-Drwg 5.11 snv_101b i86pc i386 i86pc

Horizontal line drawing characters are approximately double the width they 
should be.  Using a clipper program, compiled with the Harbour Project 
clipper compatible compiler, an inquiry screen should look like:

That's running under Gnome terminal on the same OpenSolaris box as the 
following screenshots are from.  Under urxvt, it looks like:

And, if I run urxvt with -sbg, I get:

I've run the same program under urxvt on several Linux distros and also 
under FreeBSD and it looks normal on those platforms.  Has anyone seen 
problems like this and know of a solution?
