The changes in this release are as follows:
This release enhances embedding ability by adding support for XEMBED
and a new option -pty-fd. A Perl/Tk example and a simple tabbed
terminal written in Perl/GTK 2 have been added. A number of features
and bugs have been ported from the original rxvt, and terminfo
interaction has been improved with respect to the initial keypad
mode (helps some non-curses apps) and ISO-2022 registers (which
makes use of line drawing characters possible in locales such as
EUC-JP).

rxvt-unicode is a clone of the well known terminal emulator rxvt,
modified to store text in Unicode (either UCS-2 or UCS-4) and to use
locale-correct input and output. It also supports mixing multiple
fonts at the same time, including Xft fonts.
