Hi!
I sent the e-mail below about two months ago. Now that the mailing list
is working again I thought I'd send it again. Maybe my 2 issues have
been solved in the meantime, maybe not. Anyway, I'd be grateful if I'd
get an answer :)

Hello!
Well, I use rxvt-unicode at home ( with Gentoo Linux, rxvt-unicode 3.9 )
and thought I could use it too at work. We happen to use Solaris at work
and I could only find packages for rxvt, and since rxvt doesn't support
transparency ( or, at least in this package it doesn't ) I thought I
could compile rxvt-unicode :) So let's get to the point!
I compiled rxvt-unicode 4.0, with GCC 3.4... Now there was a compiler
error. I investigated, looked at the source and found out that I had to
make the following addition in the file:
src/command.C
add:
#include <signal.h>
I looked in CVS, but didn't find anything regarding this..
Can you tell me if this is really a bug or is it something with my GCC /
configuration?
And now the second thing...
Ok, after compiling with the 'fix' above, I configured everything, and
then I noticed this:
Say, I start urxvt with --geometry 88x36, the - I say, 'virtual' -
boundaries are wrong, they are like the standard size of the window,
which is 80x24 I think..
But after I resize it, it works, it has the correct boundaries.
Again, this could already be fixed in CVS or it could be a user handling
problem ;) Anyway, I'd be grateful for help on this :)
So, thank you for reading my e-mail!

Robin Stocker
