Well, I can't read your thoughts, so it's hard to know what you were seeing
when you make certain comments - it's better to simply mention what you saw.

Anyways, this is a bug in the package, and likely causing your problem.

You really need to work on your reports then. All this talk about
transparency is weird and confusing when the actual bug report fails to
mention vital information.

You should put all information available to you into a report, epecially
since gentoo is not a supported system.

It's not gentoo or your system in this case.
