libev 4.00 preview release - please help test it

Hi everybody!

Finally, libev 4.0 nears completion. It would be helpful if people could
test it a bit, see if it works, to find some remaining issues etc.

The changes can be characterised as many small improvements, bugfixes, and
lots of renames. Overall, the next major release should bring stability as
opposed to exciting new features.

The API has changed quite a bit, but there is a compatibility layer that
should work with almost all existing programs. Feedback on cases where it
doesn't will be appreciated.
