<font face="courier new,monospace">I'm attempting to port and test my app on MS Windows (Windows Server 2008?)<br>and I've downloaded and built Strawberry Perl v5.14.2) but<br>when I attempt the 'make test' (for AnyEvent7.04) it fails many tests with:<br>

<br>Broken perl detected, skipping tests.<br><br>OR<br><br>Your perl interpreter is badly Broken. Child watchers<br>will not work, ever.  Try upgrading to a newer perl or<br>a working perl (cygwin's perl is known to work). ...<br>

<br>Some parts of AnyEvent seem to work, but the attached<br>'file watcher' app doesn't.<br><br>Suggestions?<br><br>TIA<br>Fulko<br><br></font>
