let me first say staticperl is very cool.  The low kb size is amazing, esp. w/ upx usage.<br><br>but, can i have my cake and eat it too?  <br><br>I'm interested in getting maximum performance and am wondering if you have specific tips for that side of the equation.  I'm seeing roughly double time for a simple operation like:<br>
