Good to hear that. As a sidenote, AnyEvent::Socket::tcp_connect wouldn't
suffer from this issue (and allows retries under user-control if need be).
It's a shame so many people use leonerds modules - they are full of hacks
where he tries to patch in or around other people's modules, and then ends
up with a lot of subtle bugs that only show up much later.
