how to download

Hm..... I don't have any experience with dl managers since I use wget
usually. But I think this seems to be a general timeout problem. I can
dl small files either, but when it comes to large files, I can dl then only
when I'm on a host in Germany. Here in Australia, wget goes nuts and
says things like this:

   $ wget -t 0 -c -T 0 --limit-rate=2k --wait=600 --waitretry=600

14:10:10 ERROR 403: Forbidden.

The funny thing is, although I told wget to retry infinite times (-t 0), 
wget only
retries three times. But I guess the 403 comes from trying to connect to 
plan9.de
too often. The main issue is that the --wait and the --waitretry seems to be 
quite
useless. Although the wait time is 5 minutes (600 secs), wget retries after
some seconds!?!

I guess I have the same problem as Cesar has. I get a 200 message, which
means 'ok', but then, wget fetched 0 bytes and (of course, since the 
x-length
is correct) tries again.

Something definitely goes wrong. If I could spot, what....
